Congratulations...

Bonjour mes amies.
Pardon, sil vous plait. We are a day late posting the winner of the beautiful cape, with good reason. The past few days we received a flurry of e-mails from all around the states, powered no doubt by the many of you who worked so tirelessly to help us bring more traffic to our site. We worked well into the previous night to determine the winner and, as we expected, our two front-runners were in a dead heat. But then a dark horse emerged; one who had shown himself from time to time but would then fade back. What fun we had watching the differing, competitive natures throughout this process.

We finally had to get down to the real business of the count (which Dream Teller and Garth kept a close eye on). That translated to accessing each of your files and counting the names of those within, a number of times, in order to satisfy Dream Teller that no mistakes were made. All I can say is thank you, Fates, for the latest technology; otherwise we would have been in a jam. Aye, I know you want the results so I will stop teasing you.

We did have single winner, by the slim margin of two new visitors but, as Dream Teller is wont to reward where such is earned, we will give away two capes. In order to distinguish between first and second, first place will receive a personal, handwritten message from Dream Teller along with the cape. Second place will receive the cape with a typed, unsigned message. Fair enough? And here are the results (remember, we have to take care how much information we give out, for safety reasons):

First place goes to Kirsten in Texas, who sent us 123 visitors. Kirsten states that she is a small-town girl with a penchant for exploring things out of the ordinary. She is a student at university, and she spends some of her free time accessing blogs and websites having to do with other-worldly Beings. Soon after it's conception, she found our blog; quite by accident, and has since been a regular visitor. She has e-mailed us on several occassions, lending us her eyes and ears (most helpful), to keep us current on related material and events. One of Kirsten's heads-up led Dream Teller to investigate a particular site which resulted in preventing a dastardly dude from leading teenagers astray. His site has since been shut down and the scoundrel has learned just what it means to impersonate the wrong individual. Two things of note: 123 visitors may no' sound a large number to the rest of you, but I assure you it is. Multiply a lesser number by the many who responded to our call... Second, now you know how our visitors can be of service in our endeavors. Loyal visitors are among our most valuable assests. Congratulations Kirsten and thank you for your loyalty and support. Blessed May You Be.

Second place goes to our dark-horse, who sent us 121 visitors. He goes by the screen name of trippin_time7 and he claims the southern states of Florida and Georgia as home. Business demands that he travel a great deal but he is ever with his trusty notebook, so that he can access our site. He is fairly new to our blog but he wasted no time in taking up our call for assistance. We appreciate his efforts, as well as his kindly remarks about what we do here. He recently e-mailed us to let us know he finds our blog refreshing, honest, and extremely helpful with regards to pertinent information. So thank you trippin_time7, and Blessed May You Be. Travel safely.

Our thanks to the rest of you, as well. In future, we will have various contests you can enter so watch for them. And now, answers to some of your mail:

To Garret in Indiana: Mayhap you would be best served by stepping back and wondering why such a statement was even made; what purpose it serves. Most often it is what is known as 'the hook', geared toward getting others to do something they would no' normally do, of their own free will. Remember, the free will of an intended target plays a large part in how one with evil intentions is able to gain leverage with the target of choice. Beware you do no' enter into a realm from which you might never escape. Blessed May You Be.

To Jamie in Georgia: First and foremost, follow your instincts. If, as you say, you are experiencing fear of that nature, I would urge you to keep a close, watchful eye on your child. 'Tis natural for a boy of his age to consider himself mature enough to handle whatever may come his way. You are his first line of defense so quietly investigate his comings and goings, even though he has always been truthful with you. Very often, teenagers are led astray by those who goad them into taking responsibility for their own lives, and using their age-related insecurities to turn them away from their parents. Common sense should tell you that any adults who go out of their way to provoke negative situations between children and their parents are up to no good. Too, the material you found hidden in his room is a dead giveaway that he is headed for trouble. As you believe several young people are at risk, along with your son, I have turned the matter over to a colleague near your hometown. She will investigate the situation and get back to me on her findings, but in the mean time, do no' back off your own suspicions. Blessed May You and Yours Be.

To Theresa in Louisiana: Wake up, girl. Dabbling in Voo Doo is a guaranteed ticket to trouble. You claim to have Christian origins and beliefs so why in the world would you even consider trashing those, for a mere glimpse into something as alien to Christianity as Voo Doo is? 'tis a religion, to be sure, but no' one to be taken, lightly. Certainly, 'tis one with interesting origins but the danger is very real for those whom have little knowledge of it's workings and powers. Stay clear of it and spend your restlessness elsewhere. Bless May You Be.

To Tom in North Carolina: Aye, and you are entitled to your beliefs but you have no right to push those on others. Since the Coven is no' threatening you, leave well enough alone. While you do no' believe that Witches have extraordinary powers, I assure you, you are way off base in that thinking. For the most part, true Witches are peacable folks but they can and will defend against the likes of you. You had best stay off that private property, for I expect they already know you have been hiding out, watching them. Make no mistake; if you see what you are no' meant to see, they will deal with you, accordingly. As the saying goes, 'Get a life' and leave others alone.

To Serina in New Mexico: Where there is smoke there is fire. Indian burial grounds are sacred and protected by the Spirits of their ancestors. Would you desecrate an ordinary cemetary just to prove that Spirits do no' exist and to steal from the dead? I would hope you are no' quite that foolish. Put back whatever you have found and stolen, for stolen, you have and the Spirits do no' take kindly to greedy thieves and destroyers. No' only are you at risk from them but there are man-made laws you have broken and which will land you in jail for such dishonesty. There is no amount of money worth the wrath that will surely befall you.

To Craig in Minnesota: Aye, and I thank you for your kind words. 'Tis a service we gladly provide, as we are able. In future, I hope your daughter has learned her lesson. Rogue Warlocks have a particularly nasty nature and their agenda is geared to self-fullfillment, regardless of the danger to others. You have done all that you can do and now she must take heed, or the man will certainly be her undoing. While he has gone into hiding, he will surface at some point, for those types are hedonisits by nature. He will no' take kindly to being thwarted, of that you can be sure. But know that we are watching for him and when he is found he will be dealt with, accordingly. The Warlock, Gregory, and his sons are tracking him, as we speak, and more the fool he is when they get hold of him. 'tis his type that give all Warlocks a bad reputation and Gregory will no' stand for that. Blessed May You and Yours Be.
