A message from Kaithlin

Bonjour mes amies. Now the holidays have passed, things are beginning to settle down a bit; for which I and the rest of Dream Teller's staff are most thankful. With everything else we're involved in, our fledgling blog site has kept us hopping but I'm happy to say that it is steadily moving in the direction we hoped it would take. We're just something over three months old and the traffic to our site confirms the arguments I made for establishing this venue. Now Dream Teller knows there is avid interest out there in what we are doing, she has loosened the reins a tad and given her staff more freedom to push forward with what we hope to accomplish this year. We, members of her staff, have even gone so far as to put our heads together and work out a tentative agenda that we think will meet with her approval.

She hasn't had much free time to really look it over but she has done a quick once-over (sure, and I slipped it in among the mountain of correspondence that requires her immediate attention), and along with the cocked brow she is famous for when one of us is audacious enough to seek her attention at inopportune times, we got a tentative promise that she'd give it further attention. That is saying a lot for one whose time is rarely her own. But the stage is set and along with the things I mentioned we'd be doing in my last post, Dream Teller is considering allowing us to take our e-mail space a little further.

How so? We've asked her to allow us to invite certain of you, Outsiders, to post on our site as our other guests do. In other words, rather than just post answers to your questions, to go that step further and schedule you for the entire post of the day. Now, before this suggestion lets loose a flood of mail let me explain, further. The reason for our request is this: While we consider all of our e-mail important and we'd love to give each and everyone of you equal time, we all know that is impossible. We don't want the site to wind up being a 'Dear Abby' situation, nor can we allow mail to overtake space for other important matters. But, from time to time, we've happened upon e-mailers whose thoughts and experiences we think will add interest to our chosen topics for discussion. Some of you have had experiences we haven't yet touched upon, and others for which we've only had the opportunity to offer abbreviated answers or suggestions.

An added caution here: From the outset we knew we would receive some fraudulent mail and such has been the case. But, with our skilled colleagues' assistance, we are able to determine which are and aren't true experiences or valid questions. Your e-mail goes through many hands before we waste time publishing what isn't suitable for publication. Some of our guests who've answered e-mail for us have come upon such mail and so you can see that we take things pertaining to our blog, very seriously.

Too, besides those of us who work here, some of those same guests have called Dream Teller's attention to those e-mails they consider deserve more attention than they've been given. What it breaks out to is that some of you feel you have no where to turn for to discuss things out of the ordinary that you've encountered, or are presently encountering, and for which you have no point of reference for handling.

So, all of that said, certain of our guests have offered to try to find time to personally address and/or assist in these matters. Understand, as that is what we are about and that there are precious few of us, with precious little available time, we are never able to get to all who require assistance. But for those of you who've managed on your own, or are trying to, we think that Outsiders hearing from Outsiders who've had experience with otherworldly situations will serve a twofold purpose; to help further the reality of it, and to put those unsavory individuals who prey upon the unsuspecting on notice that innocent bystanders aren't ripe for the picking. We want them to know that innocent mortals aren't the weaklings they think them; that they will fight back, and they do have champions aware of their situations and who won't stand by and allow for the wreaking of havoc and the destruction of human life.

I would ask you not to flood our e-mail box with your thoughts on this matter but to leave things develop as they will. We know that after this publishing we will receive pleas for assistance from some who've stumbled upon an option they haven't had before, and we need to be able to address those first without having to waste time wading through less important mail. And if we do begin this new option we will personally contact those we choose as guests and offer them the opportunity to post here. Non, for safety purposes we won't invite them to come here as our other guests are invited to do but we will publish their letters in their entirety. Happy New Year, Kaithlin.
