Update- Lair membership

Bonjour, mes amies.

We are well on our way to establishing a Lair membership base unlike anything we could have imagined! The queries for applications are coming in so fast we have diverted staff members from other office areas to assist us to keep up with your requests. We ask for your patience as we plow through the applications to determine which membership level suits each applicant.

Thus far, we have several applications to put before the Council which will determine members who will be assigned to the highest level. As we stated earlier those prospective members are ones whom are proven gifted. As of this posting some of those have been personally contacted (some are true Witches, others are Psychics, etc.) and are going through the various processes to determine their level of ability. Their most difficult test comes in the form of a personal meeting with one or more of our allies, chosen by the Council leaders, who will assess them for risk factor, loyalty, ability to work within the team organization, fear factor, and so on. 'Tis a most rigorous meeting and few will pass the scrutiny. Those who do will have the opportunity to move on and personally meet with the Council members who will have the final say as to whether or no' the prospective member can successfully mesh with our society.
Those suited to levels I and II are being handled by hand-picked staff members who follow the strict criteria for membership, set by Dream Teller. Some of you have inquired if those assigned to the lower levels of membership will be at a disadvantage in terms of what membership offers you vs. what the members of the highest level can expect. We assure you that no one, regardless of level, will be at a disadvantage. As you receive your application packets you will see each level is qualified in print. Certainly, those applying for Levels I and II will no' have private meetings with Council members, for obvious reasons. But if you read on you will discover that in future you will enjoy opportunities to attend get-togethers and meet some of our gifted friends and allies who get out and about for the purpose of meeting and greeting those who wish to learn more about other Kinds.

The fun part of those get-togethers is that you never know who just might put in an appearance...say, Garth, for instance. At any rate, the explanations for each Level and what you can expect are clearly stated. 'Tis your choice to join or no'. Remember, no' only is the membership meant to bring fun into our midst but also to bring together more of the gifted who seek to join ranks with others of their Kind. But always remember that Outsiders play an integral and welcomed part in what we do. Thus, Outsiders will be the backbone of our membership. Remember, too, that there is always the possibility of attaining higher levels of membership. We will be watching for those 'special' ones who evidence the qualities we seek in Outsiders whom we offer the opportunity to come among us.

The one thing Dream Teller cautions against: Discontent within the ranks. Expectations for membership have been clearly set forth in the application packets, for each level. If you are no' satisfied with what is offered, do no' apply.
