Message from Dream Teller

Good Morning, All.
I hope you enjoyed hearing from our guest, yesterday. BethAnne is quite personable; a lovely young woman blessed with many talents. We are pleased that she has agreed to work with us, as her time allows. Although she prefers to practice her religion as a solitary Witch, or with her family, she graciously provides many in dire straits with her healing ability.

Her papa and both her siblings are equally gracious, and they, too, have joined our growing ranks as part of our support system. While it may seem that we are a large coalition, nothing could be further from the truth. The ratio of our numbers in relation to the growing number of problems that fall to us to solve is consistently out of balance; such that we are stretched thin to the point of being overwhelmed, most times. Under those circumstances, one might wonder why we bother to continue in our efforts. The answer is simple; we are a dedicated lot. To ignore those who require our assistance would be to hold ourselves above others. To deny others our assistance is tantamount to flying in the face of all that is right and good, and would negate the very thing we are dedicated to; service to all Kinds.

Certainly that denial would be the easiest road but each of us knows that nothing in this life comes easy. Always, the higher path requires extra effort and often times one stumbles, but to choose the path of least resistence, merely for one's own benefit, most often turns out to be the long way round; worse, the wrong way. One might begin to wonder what this world would turn into if everyone chose the path of least resistence, non?

And so I say to you: if you have special talents but lack the motivation to share them with others, think long and hard. For what is life about but sharing with others? One can work behind the scenes, if one so desires, and still be of assistance to those in need. Many of our colleagues assist in that manner and have found they are able to maintain their privacy. Others of us who are more visible even manage to keep safe our true identity; a must, given our circumstances.

Our workload grows heavier each day and problems come at us from every direction. We are presently drawing up plans to establish ourselves in central locations throughout the states, and eventually we hope to do so in other countries. We have begun to test the waters where Outsiders are concerned; seeking loyal people who can freely move about in society, and lay the groundwork for our activities. It is a dangerous proposition, that, but the few we have already recruited have proven themselves capable and loyal, and for that we are most thankful.

Please do not flood our e-mail boxes with offers of assistance, as we cannot investigate every person who expresses a desire to work with us. We will discard those offers, for many is the time undesirables use that method to try to 'sneak' into our organization. We've had reporters attempting to 'out' us, enemies attempting to plant their own spies, and so on. So I think you can understand why we only accept names of possible recruits from reliable sources within our organization then make certain inquiries before we even approach someone.

On another subject, I would like to thank all who have steered visitors to our blog. We have received some interesting questions on topics that will be addressed in the very near future. As our readership expands we are able to reach more and more of those who are in need of our assistance, we learn of the whereabouts of enemies who stalk innocents, hear from others like us, and we meet fascinating individuals along the way. It does not get much better than that. To you, our visitors, keep steering folks our way for through all of you we are mounting a formidible task force. Blessed May You All Be, Dream Teller.

A true Witch speaks out...

Good morning and good tidings.
Before I get to my post I would like to take a moment and urge all of you to remember our military brothers and sisters on this, Memorial day. Send up a prayer for those fallen in the line of duty, our veterans, and those presently serving for us, around the world. Our military forces are the backbone of America and whether or not you believe in the neccessity of the wars being fought on foreign soil, always remember that our fighting men and women are our first line of defence against war coming to the shores of our great nation. It happened; 09/11/01, and it shook this nation to her core, and it can happen again. So before you decry our governments efforts to ferret out and punish terrorists and the preventive measures now be taken, give a thought to all that occured during that shocking, sneak attack. The loss of human lives, families torn apart, a city turned chaotic; the aftermath continues to this day.

Those who consider the military a free ride for a paycheck and housing, an education, or merely a stopgap until a better thing comes along are those who demean and defame our nation. The military is, and has always been, meant to be a fighting machine to be used in defence of our nation. Shame on those who boast of being part of the brotherhood of soldiers during good times, and mock it during bad times. It is not the enemy on foreign soil which cast dark shawdows upon our military, but those who claim to be our own while they whine and moan about being 'forced' into war. When you enlist in the military you are first and foremost a soldier. You accept the duties of such when you sign on the dotted line and no matter what the recruiter tells you, it is common knowledge that duty comes before anything else. Where is your pride? You are no better than anyone else and not owed a free ride. Honor or disgrace; the choice is your's, alone, and cannot be laid at the feet of another.

I would like to thank all of our soldiers who enlisted in good faith and who defend our nation and her values with valor and courage. My prayers and thoughts are ever with you, wherever you may be. Stand tall and take pride in being the best of the best, for honor is yours. The eyes of the world and your country are upon you, and none can lay claim to the honor you wear with such dignity.

By now it is patently obvious where my loyalties lie. I make no excuse for my views and feelings concerning those who opt for disloyalty to this nation. Words of defamation are a double-edged sword but that dull sword will never slay our government or our nation, for there are those of us who will stand against such disloyalty to our dying breath. Nay, your words are turned back on you by their very utterance, and all who are loyal see and know you for what you are -coward, willing to take, without giving anything in return. It is everyone' s right to speak his/her mind, but it is also my right to close my ears to the rantings of cowardly leeches who seek to suck dry the benefits of military life, for their own gain. Be gone, for you foul the breath of our great America. Aye, now I have gotten that out of my system I will continue with today's post.

My name is BethAnne and I was pleased to accept Dream Teller's request to visit with you. I am a True-Witch, born. I am of Welsh and Irish descent; born in America. My grandparents on maman's side immigrated to America from Ireland in the late 1950's. My grandfather passed away soon after arriving here (the cost of worrying about how he would support his family in a foreign land), and my grandmaman and maman were left to fend for themselves. The subject of Witches was taboo during that time, mostly scoffed at, for Christianity was the order of the day. And so, grandmaman kept quiet about her origins and, without much of a formal education, she went to work in a factory to provide for her only child. She toiled away at a sewing maching in a dismal building for long hours each day, without complaint. She managed to provide for maman's needs; scrimping and saving from her meager earnings so maman could go to college.

For her part, maman studied hard to attain her desire to be able to afford to provide for grandmaman in her later years. She was successful, and grandmaman passed from this world at the age of 83, knowing the prosperity her child provided for both of them. 'Twas during her last year at college that maman met the man who would relieve her of the neccessity to work, and provide for all her needs. Papa was a Welshman, come over from the old country during the early 1960's. He was handsome and educated, and because of his true origins, he immediately recognized a kindred spirit in maman. 'Twas the blood of the true Witch running in both their veins that brought them together; he,a Warlock, and maman, a Healer. At first their relationship was tenuous at best, for Warlocks are a breed unto themselves and it was rare back then that they formally took a life-partner.

It was maman who held out against such a partnership, for it was natural for her to lack trust in Papa's Kind. But along and along, Papa wore down her defenses (a wonderful story he used to tell me, as a child). They eventually handfasted (wed) and within the year my brother was born. A daughter followed eighteen months later and for several years they thought their family was complete. 'Twas a surprise, me, conceived ten years after the birth of my sister and as Papa would often tell me; a wonderful surprise, was I.

I have been blessed to live a life filled with love and the support of my family. Maman passed to the next life some six years ago, and while Papa suffered a broken heart, he continues to stay strong for his children and to this day, guides us as we need it.

Why am I telling you all of this? To show you that all Witches are not of the dangerous sort; but the majority are folk who live and behave, much as you do. True, our religious beliefs are different than most. But Pagans do not pose danger to others simply for their religious beliefs. Our Majick is not used for ill gain, but for the good of all. We respect Mother Earth, and we do not hold sway with the practicioners of evil. 'Tis the bane of our Kind; those Witches who cast doubt upon all Witches, whom we go out of our way to separate ourselves from.

Papa is a powerful Warlock, to be sure, but he would no more harm another without provocation than he would harm one of his children. Nor would my brother, who is Warlock, or my sister, who is Sorceress. Aye, and they are; an oddity in one family, but not unheard of. I am the different one, not Sorceress but Healer, as Maman was. Papa always went out of his way to assure me that it was my being different that was a blessing I should never feel ungrateful for. 'Twas the time when I was jealous of my siblings' greater powers, but I eventually learned that the enormous responsibilties that come with being Warlock or Sorceress were more than I would have wished to shoulder. I am most happy being a Healer and I take great pride in my abilities to serve others. My happiness is compounded in the knowing of how proud of me my family is.

My only worry, as it were, is my family's constant urging to seek a proper life-partner. Their urging is done with love and much teasing, but for the moment I am content with my lot. They despair that the baby of the family will ever begin my search, and I thoroughly enjoy letting them continue to think I prefer a life of solitude. My sister has produced countless 'possibilities' under the guise of introducing me to her circle of friends, while my brother and Papa are in cahoots with one another, while they think I do not know they seek to find a partner for me. It is often laughable, what the three of them get up to, occassionally irritating, but never outrageous to the point of embarrassment. In truth, I enjoy meeting those they deem good enough for me. I am a social creature by nature, but I also demand solitude when the mood strikes me, and none of my family cross that line during those times. So you see, I am truly blessed.

'Twas through Papa that I met Dream Teller and her circle of friends. I am much the richer for knowing them, and I have to say that upon meeting the Warlock Gregory's family, my eyes were opened wide at meeting his sons and step-sons. My goodness, what a handsome lot they are! Of the six, three are yet unspoken for. Hmm, not a bad thing, so mayhap I will test the waters in that particular direction. Who ever knows where and when one might run head-long into one's soul-mate? I must say that the oldest, the Warlock Shane, is quite a striking figure of a man then again the twins, the Warlocks Jaceion (who happens to be a Master Healer) and Jeremy (a Wizard, who has a rich singing voice, like smooth velvet) are equally easy upon the eyes. But, 'tis no' by looks that I judge a man's worth as a partner, for it is what is in his heart that will speak to me. Wish me well and Blessings Upon You, BethAnne.

Myth and more

Good Morning, All.
It has been brought to my attention by others that some of you feel that your e-mails are not reaching their destination. I will post my e-mail address, again: dreamteller_1_n_only@yahoo.com

As this month of May draws to an end, the time of summer solstice draws closer. While the two solstices and two equinoxes are considered as lesser holidays, (known to modern Withches as the four Lesser Sabbats or Low Holidays) those are no less important in the scheme of things. There is some discrepancy concerning the actual date of the summer solstice. Purportedly, ancient Pagan Celts celebrated this holiday on June 24th while modern Witches traditionally celebrate it on June 21st. One can sift through a plethora of information, both new and old, and never actually confirm the wrong or the right of either date. The discrepancy goes to technical data compiled in regards to astronomical points of interest, such as when the sun reaches the Tropic of Cancer and the procession of the equinox. Europeans hold to one belief while Americans hold fast to another.

It matters not as it has been proven, time and again, that the celebrations bear fruit when practicioners celebrate in good faith, either date. As I am not in league with Astronomers, I will not attempt to go into how times have changed and with those, the changes in the courses of the planets, sun, moon, and stars. So, for those of you who question the correct date, remember the importance lies in the belief which one holds true to. Enough said?

I will now address the subject of a species I have not given equal time to, here. That is not because I consider Were-Kinds of lesser importance than other Kinds, but simply because I am more prone to speak about Witches and Vampyres, given my personal acquaintance with them. You notice I said Were 'Kinds'. It was long thought that Weres could only change into wolves, but such has been proven wrong. While I have not had the opportunity to meet them, certain of my honorable colleagues have had contact with Weres who change into large cats, snakes, owls, eagles and such. For the purpose of this posting, I will address Werewolves, as those are the Kind I have some knowledge of, since meeting Michael; a valued colleague who recently joined our Council.

Like other Kinds not wholly human, the Werewolf has been maligned to the point of being ridiculous. Outrageous are the depicitons of them as horrible looking creatures bent on destroying humans, and others of their Kind. Books and movies abound with those depictions but those couldn't be farther from the truth. In his human form, Michael is quite the attractive male. He is no less attractive in wolf form; an animal I have always considered a creature of beauty. While he is much larger than his wolf kin, his appearance is otherwise that of the animal we all know (no leathery skin, no walking upright, no huge, misshapen head with a mouth full of dripping fangs). His fur is sleek and black with a wide streak of silver that runs from his scruff to the tip of his tail. The two differences I noted between him and his animal kin are his stature and girth (taller and more muscular) and the color of his eyes (emerald green with golden halos).

Another myth to be shot down is that Weres become such due to a strange virus. Not so, according to Michael. He was born with his dual nature, retained his human form until the age of 13 (the change does not come upon others until the age of 14-16). The first changing, while painful until the changling becomes adept, is also a freeing of the inner-self, when the human and wolf become one with nature. As with any Kind, there are rogues who exploit their power for their own gain, but for the most part, Werewolves are a peaceable Kind. Their motto is 'Live and let live', so long as they are not attacked.

Werewolves move about in our society, like any other. They have homes, hold public jobs, and do many of the same things, as you and I. Adult werewolves are wholly in control of the change and while the moon is significant in that, they do not 'have' to change, as myth tells us. I have only known Michael for a few months, but I find him to be an extraordinarily intelligent, kind, considerate individual. That is not to say he is not capable of posing danger. I have seen him in action and I am deeply thankful he is friend rather than foe. But he only poses danger to those who pose danger toward him, his own, or innocents. That is what makes him such a likely, valuable ally. Michael respects life and the pursuit of freedom, for all Kinds, and he despises any who attempt to take those away from anyone.

All of that said, there is the fact that Werewolves can be made; not born. However, not just anyone can be made Werewolf. If bitten, a person (human) must be possessed of certain of the inherent 'Gifts'. One such human is the Witch. Psychic ability of some sort, whether known to the owner or not, is the link. The Werewolf has an inherent knowledge of such when he/she (that blows the myth that only males are Werewolves) comes into contact with someone with such an ability. They do not go out of their way (unless they are rogue) to turn a human, simply for the fact of their gift. In fact, turning a human has long been frowned upon, as Werewolves prefer to maintain a pure race as much as is possible. But, due to the fact that their numbers are dwindling (they are relentlessly hunted) some find it neccessary to seek a mate outside of their Kind. Other times, it is the only way to keep alive someone who has been seriously wounded and then a choice must be made. It becomes a choice of sealing another's fate, so to speak. Michael assured me the choice is not lightly made, for it goes to the person's right to life, or death, as it were.

There has been occassions of when the ones changed could not or would not accept what they became, at which time it fell to the Werewolf who instigated the change to put that person out of their misery. As you can see, it is a most difficult thing to take upon one's self but it must be done, for there are instances when the changed human went mad, or would have turned rogue.

While all of this might sound outlandish, if one thinks about it, there are credible values to be discovered. Women who go through the change can bear offspring (no they are not born as cubs, but children), the men who are changed can sire offspring, and thus the Kind continues.

Another value lies in the study of their genetics. Werewolves have the gift of longevity and their saliva and antibodies are key to changing humans. At present, those are being studied in the hope of finding a way for Vampyres to produce children of their own. As the Vampyres' saliva contains healing properties, and their blood is key to changing humans, their genetics are not yet understood to the point of producing offspring. And so it is that, in the interest of both Kinds, the Ancient, Garth, and Michael have joined forces to further that possibility. Frightening? Why, when the rest of us enjoy that gift for producing our own young? Too, mayhap in time discoveries will be made that can help cure human illnesses with the blood and saliva of other Kinds. Given that those Kinds can save humans from certain death, and extend their lives beyond human years, is that not partially so, now? Ponder, and in the meantime mayhap some will become more caring of other Kinds. Blessed May You Be, Dream Teller.

A New Day

Bonjour, mes amies.
'Tis a new day and as we are wont to say here, at Dream Teller's Lair, each new day affords each of us the opportunity to begin again, or try again. 'Tis no matter what has gone undone, what is incomplete, or what requires another attempt, for the opportunity is at hand. Let nothing stop you, nor allow no one to tell you it is a waste of time; beginning anew, trying again, for that is what life is about. Each new day is a gift no' to be squandered in the depths of despair, nor tossed aside with disregard. No one of us knows how much time we have on this plane, so I urge each of you to use your gift of time, but wisely.

'Tis but making the fair effort, regardless of past mistakes, that defines one as a doer or a slacker. One can whine, moan, and complain that life is unfair and let life lead one, or one can accept that there is no such thing as perfection and take what life has to offer, and turn it to one's advantage. 'Tis that, turning life's offerings to one's advantage which requires effort, and effort is the driving force that prevents one from becoming one of the down trodden.

The point? Striving to achieve to the best of one's ability is the hallmark of one's value as a living being. One can only accomplish what one attempts, for nothing comes without a price tag. Whether the price paid is time and effort spent in the pursuit of whatever one is seeking, and the use of all one has at one's disposal, whatever one seeks requires the expenditure of both time and effort. No great mystery in that.

Many of you have questioned your inability to accomplish certain tasks you have set for yourself. Mayhap it is no' inability nor the lack of resources that prevents the accomplishment, but something far more important; a gift, unrealized, if you will. Have you ever considered that what you seek may no' be in your best interest? Mayhap the accomplishment of a particular effort could well turn out to be a disaster; even place you in the path of grave danger.

Aye, that. Most often one does no' recognize disaster or danger in the making, thus one's perceived failure is no' failure at all, but the accomplishment; a warning gained, which one has overlooked. Ponder, as you read the following e-mail answers. Kaithlin.

To Portia in Louisiana: 'Tis the desire to be what you are no' meant to be which keeps that door closed to you. The one who has been assigned to stand guard over you, your Spirit-Guide, works tirelessly on your behalf. What is beyond that door is no' what you have been told to expect, but a darkness so evil it will consume the essence of who you truly are. Stay away, child, for upon entering that domain you will never again know peace and serenity. Take heed; one's Guide is only allowed to do so much on one's behalf, and if one ignores the signs of danger deliberately strewn along one's path of effort, one will be lost to self and time. Blessed May You Be.

To Lonnie in Texas: 'Tis of no matter where it began, but where that path will end. To romanticize what has no romantic origins is to fantasize. In continuing to do so, you will only set yourself up for the inevitable and that, the inevitable, is the pay off for your foolishness. You are typical of those types sought out for just such as is being used to lure you to danger. Step back and look at all you have told to me, young man. If your common sense does not warn you away then heed my warning; 'tis the gravest mistake you will ever make, if you continue down that path. Do no' let your heart rule your head or you will lose it in a most gruesome manner.

To Jada in Maryland: It has been brought to my attention that you frequently visit my blog. As I have no other way of reaching you, 'tis my hope you will read this before it is too late. Recognize yourself in this; you, Jada, with eyes the color of the cornflower, hair the color of cornsilk, and the birthmark of the Faery behind your left ear. You are in danger from she who proclaims to be Faery of the Woodland race. Distance yourself from her, for she seeks to take your gifts for her own. She is in league with a powerful Warlock who aids and abets her efforts, for his own gain. You walk in the white light and they in the dark, and he is powerful enough to extinguish your light, lest you be aware. Call upon the white light of protection, believe in your gifts of Faery, and use them wisely. Be no' afraid of who you are, for your path is one of right and good. If you recognize yourself in this, let me hear from you, immediately. One of my colleagues is set to assist you, and it is with her that you will learn of your true origins and the extent of your gifts. Blessed May You Be.

To Tricia in Oregon: Nay, nay, nay! What were you thinking, girl? 'Tis no' too late to abandon such foolishness. Do no' go through with the initiation, and rid yourself of all such tools, as you mentioned in your e-mail. Burn them at the eleventh hour before midnight of the night before the initiation. Do no' let yourself be caught out and about at the rise of the full moon, that night. Stay behind closed doors, for he is no' Warlock and canno' cross your threshhold without invitation. Blessed May You Be.

To Thane in Ohio: Me thinks you the fool. You are no' from Ohio and your name is no' Thane. You are from Pennsylvania, live in New York, and your name is Thomas. How is that for accuracy from whom you declare a charletan? Wake up and smell the coffee, little man, for you joust with one who is no' deceived by your insolence, nor your lies. Take care you do no' call down upon your head that which you have no hope of recognizing before it is too late, much less defeating. Count yourself blessed that I have no' the time nor the inclination to administer your just desserts. Fair warning is given.

To Shey in California: Aye, and 'tis nothing but short of impossible. Would that we could but no matter how we wish it, 'tis no help for it. I applaud your wisdom, and your choice will lead you in the right direction. Walk your chosen path and let nothing, nor anyone, sway you from that direction. Look to your mentor when times get rough, as they surely will, for in the end you will discover that he is much more than you perceive him to be and, too, you will find the answers you seek at the end of your journey. Blessed May You Be.

True Legend vs. Myth

Good morning, All.
Since the conception of this blog we have made every effort to sort our e-mail into catagories, in order to speak to every subject of interest. Too, catagorizing subject matter gives us a fair accounting of where each subject ranks in the scheme of things. I find it interesting that, percentage wise, the subject of Vampyres is always of higher interest than Witches, Werewolves, and Faeries. Another note of interest is that while the subject of Vampyres is at the top of the list, the questions regarding Witches, are more knowledge-based; less likely to be far out, shall I say.

What those things tell me is that people are not only more comfortable with the subject of Witches, but that they are more likely to accept Witches in society, than other Kinds. Werewolves come in third and Faeries, last. And why, you might wonder, are such facts important? The importance lies in the obvious; that while Witches are possessed of special gifts, they are considered 'human', and thus 'real' enough to merit more consideration as being more than the fluff of myth.

That is not to say that some do not consider other Kinds alive and well in our society; just that more of you, for lack of factual based information, tend to regard those other Kinds as mythical Beings. And your questions reflect such beliefs. What drives those beliefs? Fear of the unknown, the inability or unwillingness to accept what is considered by most as lack of humanity, and those ages-old inbred teachings of one's elders.

Mayhap, if one is able to get past the belief that humanity is relative to all things, one will begin to understand that all of other Kinds aren't lacking in humanity. The Vampyre was once human and thus, though some of them no longer hold sway with their beginnings, humanity is part and parcel of their nature. Werewolves are possessed of dual natures; human and wolf, and some Faeries, many actually, are conceived of one human parent who mates with a Faery. So, it is not for lack of humanity, but for their possession of higher powers, that humans find it difficult to believe and accept that other Kinds walk among them.

Now, to really boggle some minds and most certainly raise a ballyhoo, consider this: one's lineage stretches far, far back through time and so it is that if one could trace one's bloodlines, one might well find one is related to another Kind. True, you may be related to one who is now a Vampyre, or a Werewolf (some mate with humans), or a Faery's human parent. Not so far-fetched, I think.

What of those whose ancestors are Celts, Vikings, Norsemen, and the like? Those bloodlines, and others, run through the veins of Witches, Vampyres, Faeries, and aye, Werewolves, too, as well as you and me. Get the message?

Another mind boggler: every human being is possessed of certain higher abilities, at birth. The sad fact is that few tap into those abilities; whether for lack of recognition, or fear of those. The adage, 'Use it or lose it' applies, somewhat. Abilities that are ignored, or not recognized, do not go away but lie dormant within. True, it is much easier to develop them at an early age, but it is not impossible to do so later in life. There is not a human being alive who has not experienced some form of their innate abilities, at one time or another; though many will deny it. Ever heard of deja vu (Been there, done that, before)? Ever fallen asleep and experienced the sensation of leaving your body? Ever looked at someone and seen an aura hovering about them? Ever felt a presence near you when you believed you were alone? If you are truthful with yourself, you will answer yes to at least one of those.

My point is that humans are not without certain higher abilities and thus should not disregard them as myth. Modern society is more accepting of the reality of other Kinds than earlier societies, for the fact that with modernization comes evolvement of all Kinds; including human beings. What with technology, accomodations, and such, other Kinds are better able to move about in, and mingle with, this society. Because of their higher intelligence, (not because they are smarter to begin with but because of their knowledge garnered through longevity) you will find them in positions of teaching, law enforcement, medical fields, scientific fields, and so on. Those who put their knowledge to good use offer you the benefit of their gifts and talents. 'Tis a shame that so many have not the insight to recognize what is right before their eyes. Nay, they much prefer to wear blinders and allow fear of the few to color their judgement of the many. Much like other kinds of prejudice, non?

If one chooses to remain in the confines of the narrow little box that prevents one from reaping the benefits that abound, one will never come to terms with truth. One's religious beliefs are the single most powerful deterrent in seeing, knowing, and accepting what no God denies; His own creations. Ponder, and blessed may you be. Dream Teller.

Kaithlin here...

Bonjour mes amies. 'Tis been a busy couple of weeks but I am happy to say that things are beginning to settle back into some semblance of a normal routine. We all thank you for your patience and your continued support of Dream Teller.

Many of you accepted our request for help to direct interested parties to our Blog and I must say the race is on to see who wins the beautiful cape hanging in Dream Teller's office! We are receiving a flood of e-mail and working hard to keep up with it. So many new people have let us know they have accessed our archives and are excited about discovering a place that gives them valid information. So thank you to our original visitors and keep the good work up.

To our new visitors, we welcome you to our Blog site and we look forward to chatting with you and answering your questions. We are still in the process of getting things up and running again but we have some exciting guests lined up for the coming months. You will hear from our original guests; all of whom are our dear friends and commrades, along with others who are working us into their busy schedules. So stay with us until we are back on a regular basis and I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Let me just say that Dream Teller is putting in long hours in the attempt to to get us going on a regular basis again. I have had to run her out of her office at the most ungodly hours, so I will now post some of her answers to the e-mail she has been getting to. Eventually we will get to as many as is possible so if you do not receive an answer soon, please remember that she is still dealing with the loss of her spouse. Garth is also putting in long hours to help out to give Dream Teller time to rest, so some of you will receive his responses. To those of you who don't know Garth, he is our very own Vampyre and friend.

To Nash in Oregon: Never let it be said that you aren't original, my man. I've heard some tales in my time but yours rates right up there at the top. Me thinks you have been reading too many gothic tales and have gotten yourself tied up in them. The last thing you want to do is issue a challenge of that sort to the likes of me, or any other Vampyre for the matter. It is your type that wind up in the gutter with his throat torn out, so take heed of this message. Leave be what you have no real knowledge of and get yourself a real life. All Vampyres are not civilized, and the uncivilized ones will gladly take you up on your challenge. You would be hopelessly out-manuevered before you could blink your eyes. Garth.

To Jennie in Mexico: Young lady, you would do well to stay away from those claiming to practice Witchcraft. What you have described is the practice of Satanism and those who practice the Black Arts are not, nor will they ever be, your friends. Your youth is what they seek, for youth can be used in a multitude of ways. Do not recruit your friends for them and do not, no matter what, return to that place. If what you have told me is the whole of it, there is the chance that they don't have enough information to track you down. If , on the other hand, you have given them any personal information, I would suggest that you immediately go to your parents and tell them what you have gotten yourself into. If you will not go to them, please let me know if you have placed yourself in immediate danger. Blessed may you be.

To Lady Jasmine in Pennsylvania: Aye, and it is written. 'Tis no' ours to interfere, much as we would like to. The deed is done, and there is no help for it now. Like you, I fear for the young woman's safety but we both know that for you to go up against the lot of them is suicide, and at this time we are stretched too thin to be of assistance in so short a time. My sincere regrets for your angst. Would that we could save them all, but as you surely know some things are no' meant to be. She has made her choice. I will look forward to meeting with you in the near future and I thank you for your condolences. Blessed may you be.

To Jeff in Arkansas: Thank you for your condolences and welcome to you. I hope you will find here the home you are looking for. Visit our archives and I believe you will find that we are genuine in our efforts to inform and to protect. In the near future, I will address certain of your questions, as they pertain to a particular subject I am presently preparing for discussion. By the by, I will get round to presenting an open forum in which I will chat with my visitors but first I must attend to other matters. Blessed may you be.

To Teri in Louisiana: I have been known to kick around New Orleans. In fact, I own some property in that fair city, as it happens to be one of my favorite places. My wife and I will be visiting there in June, and if you are a regular visitor to that particular watering hole I'll keep an eye out for you. If in fact you are true Witch, my wife and I will recognize you as such, and perhaps we can talk about that matter you spoke of. Garth.

To Toni in Idaho: I know the place you speak of and aye, there are many strange things that take place, there. You want to be careful to avoid it as it is a regular haunt for those types who play at being what they cannot be. Some of them have managed to open dark protals through which dangerous entities come and go, and those are the ones you should fear. Let the police search for your friend for you are not equipped to do so. Blessed may you be.

Well, enough for tonight mes amies, Kaithlin. Sleep well and stay safe.
